LENTEN SCHEDULE 2022
ADULT DISCUSSION GROUP: This Lent, we offer the opportunity to learn more about the theological power of the Nicene Creed using five short videos. One video will be sent to your inbox through Flocknote each Wednesday of the first five weeks of Lent: March 9, 16, 23, 30, and April 6. In addition, we will facilitate a discussion on March 16, 30, and April 6. The facilitated discussion group will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m.
ADORATION / BENEDICTION: Fridays at 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Church
There will be NO Adoration/Benediction on Good Friday, April 15th.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: 7:00 p.m. every Friday during Lent
On Good Friday, April 15th, there will be Stations of the Cross at 3:00 p.m. AND 7:00 p.m.
CONFESSIONS: Confessions will be heard on Saturdays, at 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., and 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
There will be NO Confessions on Holy Saturday, April 16th
PASSION (PALM) SUNDAY – April 10th: Anticipated Mass April 9th, at 5:30 p.m.
Sunday Masses at 7, 9, and 11:00 a.m.; 1and 6 p.m. Palms will be available at all doors of the Church and will be blessed during Mass.
HOLY THURSDAY- April 14th: NO MORNING MASSES. The only Mass allowed is the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:00 p.m.
GOOD FRIDAY – April 15th:
A DAY OF FASTING AND ABSTINENCE
NO MASSES PERMITTED. The church opens at 8:00 a.m.
12:30 p.m. - Good Friday Liturgy: Readings, Holy Communion, and Veneration of the Cross.
Stations of the Cross - 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
LENTEN REGULATIONS
ABSTINENCE FROM MEATS is to be observed by all Catholics 14 years old and older on Ash Wednesday and on all the Fridays of Lent.
FASTING is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics who are 18 years of age but not yet 59. Those who are bound by this may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if necessary to maintain strength according to one’s needs, but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted. Liquids between meals are allowed. [Some Catholics are not bound to fast on these days because of their health situation. For example, diabetics, pregnant and nursing mothers, as well as heavy laborers should eat enough to prevent physical danger to themselves or to others.]

HOLY SATURDAY – April 16th: NO MORNING MASSES. NO CONFESSIONS.

EASTER SUNDAY –April 17th: Masses at 7, 9, and 11:00 a.m.; 1 and 6:00 p.m.
7:00 a.m. - No choir
9:00 a.m. - No choir
11:00 a.m. -Sacred music will be provided by the Joyful Praise Singers
1:00 p.m. - No choir.
6:00 p.m. - Sacred Music provided by the Life Teen Band.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY – April 24th: Anticipated Mass April 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
Sunday Masses at 7, 9, 11 a.m. 1, and 6:00 p.m.
